Dendeng Balado


West is made of thin, wide slices of dried beef and fried dried. Fried meat is then seasoned Balado.




Sate Padang

Sate Padang is the name for the three types of satay variants in West Sumatra, namely Sate Padang, Sate Padang Panjang and Sate Pariaman.
Sate Padang wearing materials beef, tongue, or bowel (heart, gut, and tetelan) thick peanut sauce with herbs (like porridge) plus a lot of chili so spicy taste.
Sate Padang Panjang satay sauce is distinguished by its yellow color while Pariaman satay sauce is red. The second flavor is also different types of satay. While satay Padang had a variety of flavors mix of both types of variants of satay on top.



Rendang

Rendang is a traditional cuisine bersantan with beef as the main ingredient. Specialties of West Sumatra, Indonesia is very popular in all circles of society be it in Indonesia itself or abroad.
In addition to beef, rendang also use coconut (Karambia), and a mixture of various spices typical of Indonesia, including chili (Lado), galangal, lemongrass, garlic and various other herbs which are usually referred to as (Cookers). Rendang There are two types of rendang: rendang rendang basah.Rendang dry and usually can be stored dry for three to four months, and is used for ceremonial occasions or guests kehormatan.Sedangkan wet rendang, also known as kalio can be found throughout the Rumah Makan Padang, and can only survive in one bulan.Rendang have a respectable position in society Minangkabau.Rendang culture has its own philosophy for the Minang people of West Sumatra, namely deliberation, which departs from the 4 basic ingredients, namely:


1.Dagiang (beef), is a symbol of "niniak Mamak" (indigenous tribe leaders)
2.Karambia (coconut), is a symbol of "Cadiak Clever" (the intellectual)
3.Lado (chili), is a symbol of "Ulema" a spicy, assertive law to teach religion
4.Pemasak (spice), a symbol of Minangkabau society overall.


In 2011 through internet poll involving 35,000 respondents that was held CNN International, crowned Rendang as course ranked first in the list of 'World's 50 Most Delicious Foods' (50 most delicious dishes World).
